Who Atiku Abubakar needs to defeat Tinubu – Sam Amadi reveals amid Obi rejection of Atiku’s VP offer

Notable political analyst and scholar, Dr. Sam Amadi has waded into the ongoing coalition movement against president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s reelection in 2027.

Sam Amadi through his X handle in reaction to the leadership of the Obidient Movement who refuted recent report by the Punch Newspaper alleging that Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi have agreed on a deal which entails Obi becoming Atiku’s running mate in 2027 for a single term with plan for Peter Obi to succeed Atiku at the end of his single term in 2031.

Reacting to the rejection of the alleged proposal from Atiku’s camp to Peter Obi, Sam Amadi revealed that Atiku Abubakar or any other candidate is incapable of defeating president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. He said whoever will defeat Tinubu in 2027 must have Peter Obi on the ticket.

He enjoined Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi to employ mutual respect and understanding in their negotiation.

In his words: ” The truth is that without @PeterObi there is no way anyone can defeat Tinubu. What this truth implies is for you to figure out. This explains the melancholy and aggression on this street. The circle can be squared with respect and deep good faith”.

Atiku Abubakar in his bid to unify the opposition parties’ and political figures, seeks reunion with his 2019 running mate, Peter Obi. The joint ticket of Atiku Abubakar and Peter Obi is widely seen as the only viable presidential ticket capable of defeating president Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027. While Atiku’s supporters eagerly anticipate the duo agreeing to work together, the vast majority of Peter Obi supporters do not fancy their principle playing second fiddle to Atiku Abubakar.
