Controversial former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-rufai amid his bantering of words with presidential spokespersons, has responded to a man who said no politician would want him in his presidential cabinet.

The X (Twitter) user: @irahabib subtly suggested that his perception about Nasir El-rufai changed after reading his book. He said he inferred from El-rufai’s book that no career politician would engage El-rufai as a minister in his government.

He explained that Nasir El-rufai is a man who genuinely seeks and engages in positive changes for the common good of the public.

Reacting to the testament by the X user, El-rufai described himself as a man devoid of pretence and propaganda. He said he is not a Nollywood actor nor engages in propaganda to build his reputation. He emphasized that he is not a person of double standard nor indulge in politics for his personal gains.

In his words: The day I read El-Rufai’s book titled Accidental Public Servant, I concluded that no politician would want @elrufai in their cabinet unless they genuinely intend to develop this country. He doesn’t know how to pretend.”

Nasir El-rufai whose governorship administration in Kaduna State is controversy ridden, especially his alleged marginalization of the Southern people of Kaduna State who are predominantly Christians, is seemingly one of the question marks on his administration.

Recently, Nasir El-rufai has been critical of the president Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s government and rumoured to be one of those conspiring against Tinubu’s reelection bid in 2027 despite his prominent role to Tinubu’s electoral victory in 2023.
