Journalist David Hundeyin exposes Sowore’s alleged secret dirty international dealing to sabotage Nigerians
Renowned investigative Nigerian journalist and critic of president Bola Ahmed Tinubu, David Hundeyin has made some stunning expositions on how controversial activist and publisher of Sahara Reporters, Omoleye Sowore is being used by influential international organizations to sabotage the efforts of well-meaning Nigerians in repositioning the country.
Sowore renewed antagonism of opposition figures such as Peter Obi and Atiku Abubakar raises concern over his claim of seeking good governance for Nigeria rather than working for the ruling party and Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Recently, the self-proclaimed activist and former presidential candidate, accused leading opposition figure, Peter Obi of lacking the required wherewithal to lead the country. He described Peter Obi as an opportunist and one who is incapable of holding the Nigeria’s leadership to account.
However, David Hundeyin in his expository release on his X account, claimed that Omoleye Sowore is a saboteur who disguises as an activist to frustrate every genuine effort by Nigerians who desire positive change.
He said Sowore works for powerful and influential US intelligence front organizations.
“I’ve already said everything I have to say about him. He works for the same people Tinubu works for.
“Literally all you have to do to confirm this for yourself is pull up the Wikipedia page of Sahara Reporters and see who funds it (Omidyar Network, Ford Foundation, MacArthur Foundation) – all U.S. Intelligence front organisations”, David Hundeyin wrote.
He further added that Sowore by working for these foreign organizations, is committed to destabilizing every meaningful effort towards revolutionizing Nigeria.
“Yele Sowore is the biggest fvcking plant in West Africa, and I don’t understand how this could be more obvious. The dude is literally funded by U.S. Foreign Intelligence. It’s in your face!”
“Compared to that level of subversive effort, how hard is it to fund one yellow beret-wearing numpty in West Africa to jump around and destroy the actual revolutionary movement in Nigeria by centring himself as the “revolution,” fixing dates and venues for protests (signposting them for the puppet government), and gathering intelligence for them about people who can actually change anything?”
Despite his claims of seeking Nigeria’s revolution, the activist sees himself as the ultimate route to Nigeria’s repositioning. He has refused to align with any good course by Nigerians which did not project him as its frontier.
His recent suspicious behaviour includes relentless attack on opposition figures and utterances to discourage the followers of opposition figures.
While Nigeria’s opposition parties seek coalition and political realignment to challenge the underperforming administration of Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027 general elections, Sowore who also is nursing presidential ambition in 2027, described the move for coalition of opposition parties as an act in futility.
This and others have many Nigerian youths question the sincerity of Sowore in his acclaimed sought for a working Nigeria.
Commenting on his recent attack on opposition figures, @faita11 on X wrote: “Sowore’s arrogant, self-centered and myopic. He does not see any good in any course that does not place him as the championer. I agree that this guy might be working for APC. He rarely criticizes the ruling party but the opposition parties and politicians. It’s high time Nigerians knew who he really is”.
