How Atiku Abubakar could make himself Nigeria’s hero in 2027– Kenneth Okonkwo

Former spokesperson for the Labour Party 2023 presidential campaign council, Kenneth Okonkwo has taunted Atiku Abubakar into becoming Nigeria’s hero if he becomes Nigeria’s president in 2027.
Kenneth Okonkwo who was speaking on Channels Tv Politics Today, decried Nigeria’s corrupt electoral system. He argued that the Nigeria’s electoral system has made it impossible for free and credible election as such, impossible for an actual winner of an election to be declared by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). He said the incorrigible electoral and political system of Nigeria posses risk to an inexperienced leader who would become susceptible to corrupt system.
Kenneth Okonkwo then assumed that a new Nigeria which is being clamoured for, might unlikely come from a new and young political leader. He said such could only be possible through a veteran politicians such as former vice president Atiku Abubakar who has embraced the New Nigeria agitation and capable of withstanding the corrupt forces through his experience if he becomes president.
He added that Atiku Abubakar would become Nigeria’s hero if he takes the current Nigeria’s political and economic state to the condition of the Obasanjo’s presidential era. He said if Atiku Abubakar pays of all Nigeria’s debt as Obasanjo did; secures Nigeria by routing insecurity; and tackling food scarcity and inflation, he would be regarded as a hero in the face of the Nigeria’s successive bad leadership under the All Progressive Congress (APC).
He said: “Assuming Atiku comes into power and takes us back to the Obasanjo years, he would be a hero. He would have paid off all our debt, he would not acquire new debt, and he would make sure there are no security problems.”
