Self-confessed k!ller of Salome Eleojo Adaidu, Timileyin Ajayi has declared that he does not regret k!lling his girlfriend.
According to Timileyin Ajayi who was today paraded by the Nasarawa state police command over the mvrder of 24-year-old Salome Eleojo Adaidu, gave the reason for carrying out the act as Salome Eleojo Adaidu’s betrayal of his love and dedication to their relationship.
He said he has been in relationship with the victim for over a year until her unfortunate death. Timileyin Ajayi claims that he discovered that Salome Adaidu was cheating on him with other men. He said he made the discovery about Salome’s unfaithfulness to him through her mobile phone on Sunday, while she visited his home in Karu Local Government Area of Nasarawa state.
According to him, he saw replete of Salome’s chats with other men which prove her unfaithfulness to their more than one year relationship.
When asked if he regrets his unfortunate act of k!lling his girlfriend in his room, Timileyin Ajayi stated that he harbours no regret. He said Salome’s unfaithfulness to their relationship was a betrayal of his dedicated love to her. He said good acts deserve to be reciprocal and amount to betrayal if not reciprocated.
” I don’t don’t have any regrets because life is reciprocal that is what I thought, if you must do something to someone, you have to be reciprocal with that person. You have to understand what that person is going through so that you can actually put yourself in the position that the person is going through, that is why I don’t have any regrets because we were actually compatible.”
Timileyin Ajayi who appeared unperturbed by his alleged crime, had bruises on his face suspected to have been inflicted on him by mob who attempted lynching him when Salome’s dismembered he@d was found in his possession; in a black polythene bag.
Speaking to the newsmen, Salome Adaidu elder sister, Esther Adaidu accused the Nigeria Police of cover up and planning to botch their investigation into the crime. According to Esther Adaidu, the narrative that her slain sister, Salome Adaidu was in a relationship with her self-confessed k!ller is an attempt to grant the suspect soft landing.
She thereafter appealed to the Nigeria Police to ensure that justice is done. She emphasized that they had never before Salome’s death heard about Timileyin Ajayi. She said her late sister was not dating her self-confessed k!ller as he claims.
Also, Salome’s uncle, Samson Adaji reiterated that the family got to know about Salome’s death through the police. He also called on the relevant authorities to ensure that justice is done in the end.
Salome Adaidu before her death was a member of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC). She was attached to Nicon Insurance in Abuja.
The 24-year-old Salome Adaidu was reportedly mvrdered by Timileyin Ajayi who claims to be her boyfriend.
