Former senator Ben Murray Bruce has extolled controversial former presidential aide, Reno Omokri on his fifty one (51st) birthday.
Former senator Ben Murray Bruce through his X (formerly Twitter) handle, congratulated Reno Omokri on his new age.
According to him, Reno Omokri is distinguished for his love and loyalty to Nigeria; his forte for identifying with Nigeria culture and peculiarity wherever he finds himself.
He described Reno Omokri as a patriotic Nigerian whose words and actions reflect Nigeria.
In his words: “Happy fifty-first birthday to my friend and brother, Reno Omokri, a patriot par excellence and a cultural ambassador for everything Nigerian. I have scarcely met an individual so proud of Nigeria that it oozes out of him in his speech, mannerisms, and dressing. Many happy returns of the day, and may God grant you your heart’s desire”.
However, it appeared that many of Ben Murray Bruce’s x followers do not agree with him over his perception of Reno Omokri who is vastly regarded among young Nigerians as a propagandist.
In reaction to Ben Murray Bruce’s remark about Reno Omokri, @ZariyiYusufu replied : “Knowing who Reno Omokri has made of himself, your birthday message to him sounds like sarcasm, which you shouldn’t do to him as a friend”.
@EngrKibiya replied: “Hhh. Reno blocked me just because I reminded him of his old posts when he was against Tinubu. Since he had no words to defend himself, he decided to block me. Reno is a gossip activist who only cares about his pocket. He needs a political appointment, Indeed, he is nothing but a political dog. Mr. Pocket Table Shaker Shame on you”.
