Manchester City FC new signing, Omar Marmoush has picked Nigerian hip hop superstar and one-time Grammy award winner, Burna Boy as his favourite musician globally.
The footballer who just made a switch from German side, Eintracht Frankfurt to Manchester city in the 2025 January transfer window, explained that Burna Boy’s songs resonate with him; hence, the reason he is his favourite musician. Omar Marmoush made the disclosure during an interview which was posted on his new club’s official website.
Omar Marmoush’s latest remark on Burna Boy has reignited a near-decade argument over who among the Nigerian trio: Davido, Wizkid, and Burna Boy edges others; or is the best locally and internationally. An argument which by the trio’s international and local records and ratings, will not be concluded soon.
Also, Omar Marmoush revealed that former Brazilian superstar and FC Barcelona legend, Ronaldinho is his football idol.
Speaking about himself and his hobbies, Omar Marmoush disclosed that aside playing football, Paddle is his hobby.
He further described his best three attributes as a footballer as well as his preferred style as a combination of “dribbling, fast, and dangerous”.
