“I married a wife, not a whore”, Paul Nwokocha reveals what he caught his wife doing with other men

Popular Igbo gospel singer, Paul Nwokocha whose marital life is punctuated by controversies, has given insight into the reason his second marriage to Mrs. Goodness Nwokocha failed.

Paul Nwokocha in September 2023, stunned many by his marriage to Goodness; marriage which came at the expense of Alice Nwokocha, his first wife.

The public were oblivious to the reason Paul Nwokocha’s first marriage ended.

However, the Igodo crooner had after his marriage ceremony to Goodness in 2023, accused his first wife of mistreatment which resulted in the end of their marriage.

Interestingly, barely three years into his second marriage to Goodness who hails from Bende Local Government Area of Abia state, the singer has confirmed that he has separated from his second wife.

The family of his estranged second wife have also confirmed that his marriage to their daughter has formally ended as they have returned his bride price to his family.

A member of Goodness’ family, Uzoma Okoro who disclosed the return of the bride price, revealed that things went sour for the couple in May 2024 when Paul Nwokocha reportedly ill-treated Goodness who did not have a prior relationship with him before marrying him.

He added that Goodness was persuaded into the marriage by her uncles who had insisted she married the singer.

Paul Nwokocha while reacting to the report of his separation with Goodness, his second wife, in a video monitored by the Reliant Nigeria News, claims that he caught Goodness sending her nudes and videos to other men.

He suggested that Goodness while married to him, did ab0minable things; acts which resulted in his ending the marriage.

“Hear me again, If I marry today and I find out that the wife I married is doing abominable things before God and man, I will send you out of my house without any apology”, he said in part of the video.

“I married a wife, not a whore. So, I owe nobody apology for this, stop calling me names. Not even minding how long I married you, if I find you are doing evil before God, you are going out of my house”.

“You that is talking and showing pity on her, how will you feel if the woman you call your wife is taking nudes photos and videos and sending them to men, how will you feel if you find such thing, how will you feel, I need your comment”.
