Nigerian afro hip hop singer, Tiwa Savage has narrated how Davido offered his helping hands to her during her s3x tape saga.
Speaking in a recent interview, Tiwa Savage admitted that the leaked tape took a torn on her mental health especially as those whom she had offered support in the past were not there for her.
The forty four (44) year old mother of one however singled out David Adeleke better known as Davido for appraisal. She revealed that Davido was the only one among her friends and colleagues in the music industry who shared genuine concern and support to her.
According to her, Davido called frequently to check on her as well as offered moral support to her. She added that the abandonment she suffered from her colleagues has taught her some lessons about relationship with people.
In her words: “When my ş3xtäpe was posted online, I thought most of my colleagues who I once supported will stand for me but I was sh0cked to see that the only person who had my back was “DAVIDO”. He made sure I was okay. He checked on me everyday to know how I was doing! One thing I learn from the situation is that not everyone who laughs with you or someone who is close to you wants to see you happy but I thank God I have a friend like David who always make sure I’m fine”.
Recall that in October 2021, Tiwa Savage on a radio interview, revealed that an unnamed person was about blackmailing her by releasing her adult video to the public. She said the person had sought to extort her over the video and that she was unwilling to remain vulnerable and subjugated to her blackmailer due to the said video.
A few days after her radio interview, her adult video went viral; consequently, the singer, three years after the incident, has remained rueful over the damages the leaked video has caused her reputation.
She disclosed in a recent interview about how gravely concerned she is over her son coming across the said video in the future.
