Following the allegation of sexual harassment allegations leveled against Senate President Godswill Akpabio by Senator Natasha Akpoti-Uduaghan, founder of IPI Solutions, Adamu Garba has publicly defended Akpabio, describing him as a “very, very, very, very good man” whose weakness is his kind nature.
Garba, who actively supported Akpabio’s campaign for the Senate presidency, expressed his unwavering support in a recent Twitter statement, attributing Akpabio’s challenges to betrayals by trusted individuals.
He wrote: “The Senate President, Godswill Akpabio is a very very very very good man. His only weakness from time is being betrayed by the people he trusted. Like what you’ve seen playing right in the red chamber on live tv stations”.
Reports have it that Senator Natasha of Kogi Central petitioned the senate president on the grounds of sexual harassment, corruption, and misuse of power. The Senate president who received the petition moved it to the Senate Committee on Ethics to handle the case.

CHRICED laid emphasis on the importance of transparency and accountability, urging President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to direct security agencies to conduct a thorough probe.
However, the Bloggers and Vloggers, Content Creators Association of Nigeria (BAVCCA), along with over 400 digital creators, condemned what they tagged a “media trial” of Akpabio. They expressed concern over the trend of public discourse passing judgment without awaiting legal proceedings and urged ethical reporting. BAVCCA also questioned the timing and motives behind Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations, referencing her previous unsubstantiated claims against other public figures.
Further, a group known as Concerned Nigerians criticized Akpoti-Uduaghan’s allegations, labeling them as a calculated attempt to tarnish Akpabio’s reputation. The group accused her of having a history of using false accusations for personal gain and urged the public to disregard her claims.
