Nollywood star Eniola Badmus recently made an emotional appeal, expressing her heartfelt desire to become a mother. Speaking on Thursday with attendees of her Corporate Social Responsibility outreach in Lagos, the actress asked for prayers and support from her fans and well-wishers as she continues to trust God for the blessing of children.
The event, themed “Feed the Needy,” was held at Temidire Primary School in Shogunle, Oshodi, on January 2, 2025. It served as a platform for Badmus to connect with the community and extend support to underserved populations through food and essential supplies. In her heartfelt address, she said, “Please continue to pray for me. Always mention me, Eniola Badmus, in your prayers. I’m waiting on the Lord for children; I’m waiting on the Lord for kids.
The star, known for her vibrant on-screen presence and commitment to philanthropy, has used her platform to advocate for social change and provide for those in need. Her appeal for prayers highlighted not just her personal journey but also the importance of solidarity and faith within the community.
Badmus also used the opportunity to reflect on her aspirations for broader societal impact, stating, “Please pray for me and for more opportunities so that I can serve you better. With your prayers and God by my side, I will continue to work together with you all and achieve a brighter and more prosperous tomorrow for many of our people. Thank you today, thank you always, and thank you forever.”
The outreach event was organized in collaboration with Seyi Tinubu, son of President Tinubu, as part of their shared vision to uplift vulnerable communities. Hundreds of attendees benefited from the initiative, which distributed food and supplies to individuals and families in need. While her professional achievements continue to inspire many, her vulnerability has added a layer of relatability to her public persona.
