In a candid social media outburst, Nigerian music icon 2Baba addressed his critics with a message titled “HYP0CRITES!”
He expressed deep frustration over the lack of support during his wife while he grappled with prolonged kidney failure, stating:
“All these years wey I dey suffér kidnéy fa!lure, where una been dey?” He lamented feeling abandoned, noting that his wife, actress Annie Idibia, was “more interested in her reality shows,” leaving him alone during hospital stays. He also highlighted the sacrifices he made, often leaving his hospital bed to fulfill appointments to provide for his family, which led to severe health relapses. 2Baba questioned the sudden criticism he faces amidst personal challenges, implying that his current vilification is unwarranted. This revelation has sent shockwaves through the entertainment industry and among fans, prompting various reactions from fellow celebrities.
Before the divorce announcement, the couple’s relationship had been under public scrutiny for years, with both parties occasionally addressing issues publicly.
